Introduction to Ayurveda
through Breath, & Mindful Tasting
with Anjali Sunita
May 19
12-3pm
(Come at 11 am and bring a labeled brunch potluck dish to share!)
Through call and response, observation of our natural environment, and dialogue between us,
we will explore all of life as expressions of the 5 great elements (ether, air, fire, water, and earth),
and the beneficial therapeutic implications of this vantage point!
As an experiential portion to the class, we will practice short pranayama to experience
the qualities and therapeutic applications of this powerful Ayurvedic lens.
We will close with a sweet mindful tasting exercise to continue integrating
our new understanding of these elements and
you may find yourself surprised at how much you have already learned!
Location:
Wild Ginger Herbal Center
Bryans Road, Maryland
(Address will be sent upon registration)
