Ritual, in our long traditions of celebration, resistance, and survival, have strengthened our collective will and intention.
At this cultural, political, and cosmic moment, as parts of white-settler colonialist empire are cracking, we come together to imagine, embody, and ritualize a new paradigm that affirms, dignifies and honors all beings.
Inspired by Black folk traditions of the U.S. South, we'll contribute toward white supremacy death ritual, rituals that sustain us during times of deep uncertainty and mystery, and collective life-affirming ritual.
This is a love-based offering. Any funds raised for this event will go to a BIPOC herbalism learning fund at Wild Ginger Herbal Center for the 2020 Community Herbalism Program. If you prefer to register without a donation please feel free to email [email protected] with your name and we will register you!
This event will be limited to 30 participants; please register early.

About Richael Faithful
“I felt drawn to and inspired by the magical ways of being of enslaved folks on this soil. To me their very survival was magical. And as I learned more about [Conjure, an African-American healing tradition], it’s super practical, which makes sense. It’s practical, it’s eclectic and it is truly about survival and thriving which is also very true to the black experience in this country.” - Richael Faithful
