Mushrooms: Food and Medicine

Join mushroom enthusiast Holli Elliott at Centro Ashé Farm for a day exploring the medicinal and edible uses of mushrooms. We will focus our time learning the ins and outs of mushrooms, structure, habitat, uses, and then we'll spend our practical portion on cultivation. Participants will learn how to grow reishi mushrooms using log inoculation and we will utilize woodblocks to inoculate shitake mushrooms. Dress for the weather and please bring mug for tea, lunch is a potluck please bring a dish to share.
