What is the course format?

The Home Herbalism Course consists of video classes that you can take according to your schedule. All videos are on-demand, and streamable at your convenience. Videos are closed captioned. The course will also have downloadable course notes.

How long does the course take?

We recommend taking about one module a week, and some modules can take up to two weeks to move through and integrate the knowledge.  We recommend viewing the videos, reviewing supplementary notes, and putting each module into practice before moving on to the next. 

Is the course live or pre-recorded?

The Home Herbalism Course is pre-recorded videos via Zoom, which means you can take them anytime at your convenience.

What supplies will I need?

For the course you will need a internet enabled device, a notepad, pen.  We provide an extensive supply list as a course bonus that you can utilize based on what herbal preparations you decide to make! But to begin you don't need anything!

How long will I have access to the course?

You will have full access to this course for two years from the date you signed up. Enjoy! 

Is this course just for people in North America?

While many people join our courses from North America, we welcome folks from all over the globe! The course will be taught in English, and we will talk about a mixture of temperate and tropical plants, but the skill we teach in this course are applicable no matter what bio region you are in.

Is there a course forum?

We do not offer course forums for our online classes.

Is closed captioning available?
- Yes all videos during our program have closed captioning available.
How do I access the lessons?
- Home Herbalism Program Attendees will receive access to our online class portal which will include all of the class videos and course materials/notes. This information to create your personal login will be sent out before classes begin in November 1, 2021 and at that time all classes will be available for you..
How does communication happen during the program?
- Home Herbalism Course Participants are added to our Home Herbalism Program Newsletter in which important class information, access info, materials and notices will be sent. Starting November 1, 2021 all classes are available.  PLEASE add [email protected] to your email contacts list to assure you get messages. When you sign up, if you have not heard from us please check your trash or spam before contacting us.
Will I get a certificate for this program?
- Please note, we do not offer certifications for this program. There is no legal or professional certification or lisensure for herbalism in the United States.  While we realize people value certificate, to operate with integrity we feel it is important to be up front about this.
Can I sign up for just the classes I want?
- This is an all-inclusive program   No discounts or a la carte registrations will be available seperate from this for individual classes etc.  Participants are not required to take all classes; however the Plant Path Herbal Intensive, the Ayurveda Series, as well as Birthkeepers Program are meant to be taken in sequential order and are released in a specific order over the year.
