Wild Ginger Community Herbal CenterProfessional Herbal Educator CertificateLearn to inspire. Teach with confidence. Build a thriving herbal education practice.
Imagine stepping into next spring with more than a love of plants—you have a complete educational program, a clear teaching philosophy, practical curriculum, and the confidence to lead classes that truly make a difference.
The Professional Herbal Educator Certificate is an immersive, in-person training designed for herbalists, educators, gardeners, wellness practitioners, and passionate plant people who feel called to share herbal knowledge with others.
Whether you dream of teaching community classes, leading herb walks, partnering with schools or libraries, creating family programs, or expanding your existing herbal business, this program will help you transform your knowledge into meaningful educational experiences.
This is not a clinical herbal training.
It is a professional development program focused on the art of teaching, community engagement, and creating educational programs that are both impactful and sustainable.

Why Winter?Winter has always been the season of dreaming, planning, and preparing.
While the gardens rest, we have the opportunity to imagine what comes next.
Over four months, we'll gather at Wild Ginger to cultivate new ideas, refine our teaching skills, and build the programs you'll be ready to offer when spring arrives.
Instead of spending the winter wondering what to teach next year, you'll spend it creating the classes, workshops, and experiences your community is waiting for.

Is This Program for You?This program is designed for people who:
  • Want to begin teaching herbal education but aren't sure where to start.
  • Have been teaching and want to create more engaging, organized programs.
  • Dream of offering herb walks, workshops, seasonal gatherings, or family classes.
  • Want to work with libraries, parks, schools, community organizations, or wellness centers.
  • Are ready to build an authentic herbal education practice rooted in relationships rather than marketing hype.
  • Believe that herbal education has the power to strengthen both people and communities.
No teaching experience is required.
A passion for plants and a desire to share them is.
